Gluten and Dairy Free

Serves: 8 large slices
1 cup cacao powder
1 1/2 cups rapadura sugar
1 cup melted coconut oil
1 cup walnuts
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup KeenWah quinoa flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
To make the brownies
Preheat fan-forced oven to 180 degrees.
Whisk melted coconut oil and sugar in a bowl until sugar is melted.
Add cacao and whisk together until well combined.
Whisk eggs in a separate bowl, then add heated eggs bit by bit to the mixture.
Add vanilla essence and mix well.
Fold in the KeenWah flour using a spatula, slowly mixing into the bowl.
Add the walnuts and then evenly spread the mixture into a lined baking try (25x15cm approximately) and bake for 15-20 minutes.
As you’re using KeenWah Flour, the brownies don’t rise as much as normal brownies. They have an amazing nutty flavour due to the quinoa.

If it looks like it’s too dense add another some more coconut oil, if too runny add more flour.
If making multiple trays only mix two lots in each bowl.
